What They Do

Stratavan Financial, LLC provides accounting and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations. A small listing of the services are below:

• Preparing deposits, recording receipts, preparing and recording disbursements.
• Monthly reconciliations
• Monthly close procedures
• Monthly review of financials with the Executive Director (as well as the finance portion of any Board committees or Board meetings).

• Assist in the preparation of grant proposal budgets and other financial reports requested by the organization (i.e. cash flow projections), as well as prepare interim and final expenditure reports for grant activity
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget (including review of the proposed budget with the finance committee of the board and the board as a whole if necessary)
• Prepare/review the organizations internal control policies and procedures around areas of fiscal activity and development/fundraising.

• Perform year-end close procedures, including all appropriate reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare all schedules, documents, and supporting information needed for the annual audit (if necessary)
• Prepare the annual audit report and all supporting schedules and footnotes for review by public accounting firm; and work with the organization’s staff and public accounting firm to complete the annual audit (as necessary) and corresponding tax return of the organization.
